YOUR OWN
CACAO CEREMONY
6 STEPS TO CREATE YOUR OWN CEREMONY AT HOME
CREATE YOUR SPACE
Create a peaceful sanctuary at home to relax and rejuvenate. Get cozy with a soft blanket, your favorite relaxation tools, and smudge the space with sage and palo santo for positive energy. Unwind in your own peaceful haven!

RELAX, RELEASE, RECIEVE
It's time to unwind and let the cacao work its magic in your body. Take a moment to lie down and listen to a guided meditation, some soothing music, or simply focus on your breath. There's no right or wrong way to do this, just relax and be present with the experience. I suggest taking at least 20 minutes to fully enjoy the benefits of cacao.
PREPARE YOUR CACAO
As you prepare your cacao, take a moment to express gratitude to Mother Earth, the spirit of cacao, and all the hands that brought it to you. Think about what you're grateful for your life and set an intention for your cacao ceremony. Send your intention into the cacao as you prepare it. Enjoy!

GRATITUDE AND CLOSING
Complete your ceremony by placing your hands over your heart and find gratitude for mother nature providing you with this beautiful plant medicine and of course gratitude for the beautiful person you are. Take a deep breath in and ground yourself by sending energy to your feet. Ending with a beautiful Aum/Om.
CONNECT IN
Place your mug in your hands, close to your heart, inhale the blissful chocolaty aroma, and set your intention. Be open-minded and non-judgmental, trusting your intuition and the spirit of cacao. Blow your intention into the cup, take a sip, and feel the cacao travel through your body and into your heart space. Enjoy each sip and feel your heart space expand and grow.
SELF-CARE
After your ceremony, take care of yourself and allow time for integration. Write down your feelings and experiences in your journal. Ground yourself by going outside, placing your bare feet on the earth eating grounding foods, and drinking plenty of water. Don't forget to share a photo of your sacred space with me on Instagram @wholeycacao.
