In the beginning, my journey with cacao was not a tale of immediate deliciousness. Even as I ventured into the middle phase, the flavors did not quite align with my expectations. However, as the hands of time continued their steady march forward, a profound transformation took place within me. I foun
d myself forging a deep connection with cacao and its essence. Now, the contents of each cup matter little in comparison to the purity of my intentions. When my heart is aligned with greatness, the concoction always transcends mere taste and becomes a perfect harmony of flavors.
Yet, there are moments, like the one I find myself in now, where the desire for cacao extends beyond spiritual nourishment. As I sit here, enveloped in the warmth of my cup filled with heart-opening deliciousness, I can't help but yearn for a blend that not only feeds my soul but also tantalizes my taste buds. And so, I present to you a recipe that embodies the epitome of yumminess, a fusion of flavors that promises to delight both the spirit and the senses.
Ingredients:
28g Keiths Cacao (daily dose)
200ml filtered water (or your choice of alternative milk but NO dairy)
5g pure maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon Maca powder
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of Himalayan rock salt
Method:
Chop the cacao with joy, add a small amount of water and all the other ingredients over a low to medium heat and mix into a paste while calling in the spirit of cacao and any other guides or angels you want to connect with.
Once the paste is smooth add the remaining water and slowly heat, being careful not to boil it. Whisking or stirring with a fork while you set your intention into your cacao. I also like to have healing music playing or to sing, bringing a sense of joy and love into the cacao.
Once the cacao is at a nice hot temperature, pop it into the blender and whizz it up for 30 seconds or more to create a good amount bubbles/froth. (History lesson #1: When cacao was offered to the gods thousands of years ago, it was said that the more bubbles and froth on the cacao the more abundance they would receive).
Pour into your favourite cup/mug and enjoy all the love and bliss you deserve!
For a ceremonial dose of cacao, the intention and method is the same but the ingredients are:
