Ceremonial cacao is a powerful plant medicine that has been used for centuries in indigenous cultures for spiritual and healing purposes. It is believed to open the heart, connect us to our inner wisdom, and facilitate deep healing and transformation.

The cacao beans used in Keiths Cacao are harvested from Theobroma Cacao (cacao trees) that grow as they are meant to beneath the canopy of the rainforests, not in an industrial farm or plantation. The farmers connect with the spirit of cacao to tune into the trees that are ready to be harvested. Guatemalan ladies sing as they process the beans by hand, toasting and roasting them, infusing them with joy and love continually checking the quality of each bean.

At Wholey Cacao we chose to work with Keith's Cacao because of their beautiful and ethical practices, including their generosity with the farmers and the care taken to harvest and love put into each and every block of cacao.

MEET OUR CACAO ENTHUSIAST

When I first welcomed cacao into my life, it started with quiet moments, early mornings with a cup in hand, watching the sunrise, or a midday pause amidst the buzz of motherhood and family life. These moments provided a sacred space for positive intentions and self-reflection, helping to refocus my mind and heart. What began as well-deserved "me time" soon revealed itself as my true calling.

Cacao opened my heart in profound ways, allowing me to observe my behaviours, feelings, and reactions with compassion rather than self-judgment or external influence. I noticed patterns breaking away, leading to personal growth and change. Suddenly, a new world of possibilities unfolded before me.

As my connection to cacao deepened, it became an integral part of my daily self-love routine and inner connection. I immersed myself in learning about its physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits through ceremonies, practitioner training, and cacao immersions. This journey of learning and growth continues to this day.

For the past four years, I have been importing Keith's Cacao and running face-to-face and virtual ceremonies from the tranquil Kapiti Coast, where I live with my husband Sam and our four children: Millie, Grayson, Henry, and Jai. I've had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life.

Witnessing someone uncover new insights about themselves or heal from their past brings me immense joy and honor. When joy returns to someone's life, it is a beautiful transformation to be part of.

My mission as a cacao practitioner is to open hearts and help individuals reconnect with their true selves. I strive to support people on their journey towards experiencing more love, understanding, and compassion, enabling them to view life's challenges as opportunities for growth.
